Here are a few pics of my xj...any ideas on a decent cheap lift around 3 inches....also looking for ideas for a pre runner bumper...let me know what you guys think...

Welcome. When it comes to 3" lifts I don't think it matters since you can use your stock shocks to start out with. Just find the cheapest spacer and shackle lift you can find. As far as I know they are all the same. I run Rough Country.

My local off road joint offers a 3 inch rustys with new shocks installed for 500...decent price?

Welcome from Indiana. That's what I'm getting next month 3" rc local shop here bout 700 to put on . I don't think that's a bad price at all. Good luck

Thanks bud...im prolly gonna go with 30s not 31s...I don't really like the wide 10.5s...any recommendations on cheap/decent 30s? Around 130-150 a tire?

If you do a puck and shakle spacer TeraFlex is a good name.

Otherwise if you want an actual spring life I suggest BDS.

You might thing about doing the lift yourself. Not that big a deal and will save you some dough!!

Id like to do it myself but im a college kid....no garage and just have the basic tools...no jack or jack stand...im prolly gonna go with the rustys 3 inch ....any reviews from y'all?

Im gonna start with rustys 3with inch on aggressive 30s...maybe go to 4 or 5 later

you could buy the tools, lift kit, and beer and pizza for you and the friend that helps for less then 500. saves you some money and you have the tools and knowledge for next time

Yeah I know...I have **** luck though...ill prolly run into major issues if I did it...id ***** to the walls it if I had a garage and a lift...heat index here is 115...its almost worth paying my offload center to install it

welcome from ga too and i have a rustys 3in and love it but mine is 3in in the front and 3.5in in the rear. very easy install
