Default North Georgia Welding

Thought id let everyone know around the surrounding areas of Chattanooga, Tn and North Georgia that need steel or cheaper prices on it that North Georgia Welding has a selection of square and dom tubing they are selling for prety damn good cash prices. They are off Rossville Blvd. Their number is 423-593-2365 or 423-593-2369. I called them up about a 20 feet long stick of 2"x2" square, 1/8" thick and he priced it for $40. Damn good price if you ask me, especially with what other companies around here are selling it for and prices of steel are now days. Just thought id let everyone know.

2 things.

1. if it is that cheap beg/borrow some ones 18' trailer and pick up as many sticks as you can afford.

2. Dont know what you are going to build out of it.. but 1/8 is very thin for any kind of rock rails. I would strongly suggest 3/16 or 1/4. I have personally bent to hell 2x3x1/4 rock rails on Pong when It was still a full bodied rig.

I was just curious on their pricing cause i seen an add on craigslist they had posted about having steel for sale. Ive had mind on 1/8" cause for one, i dont do any hardcore wheeling and also when i do home brew stuff like bumpers to whatever, i always reinforce and build stuff to where i dont have to worry about it or redo it down the road.

Oh and also, this is 1/8" thick...

I would still go for at least 3/16, or in your case 5/16 lol
