Default 2001 XJ Sport, new to the forums

Hey guys, I've decided to finally make my first post here in the forums, as I'm going to be doing some more complicated work on my XJ in the next year or so. I currently own a 2001 Cherokee Sport 4x4. I got it about 2.5 years ago completely stock with 128k miles on the clock. I will make a build thread but I probably won't be doing any work to it until next summer. But here's a list of the work I've done to it thus far:
-Fog lights
-Replaced headlights
-Put in clear blinker housings
-Replaced rear shocks
-Painted stock wheels black
-1" throttle body spacer
-New spark plugs
-Replaced a bunch of sensors
-Replaced liftgate shocks/arms
-Rusty's steering stabilizer
-Rusty's 2" budget lift (front coil spacers, rear lift shackles)
-Rusty's front shocks
-30" BFGoodrich ATs
-New front swaybar endlinks
-Magnaflow muffler
-Rusty's 2.5" tailpipe

Things to come:
-Rough Country 4.5" lift (already have it, I cheaped out and bought the add-a-leaf so we'll see how that goes haha)
-Drop pitman arm
-Upgraded front track-bar
-SYE kit and driveshaft
-Fender flares
-Cragar Soft 8 15x8 wheels
-32" BFGoodrich ATs or KM2s
-Replace headliner
-Fix driver side door speaker
-Fix A/C
-Repaint rear bumper
-JCR Prerunner Front Bumper
-Better fog lights
-Eventually a rear tire carrier
-Replace cat with magnaflow high flow cat (if stock one goes bad)
-Headers

Welcome, U aren't allowed to talk about removing cat convertors on the forum. It's against the law.

Ah ok, thanks for letting me know. I was actually planning on replacing it with a Magnaflow high-flow cat, I just got lazy while typing it all up! Thanks again!

Technically its not supposed to be removed unless its "bad". Sounds like you have some solid plans, I would suggest just going to 33s, especially since you plan on trimming for fender flares. **** you could run 35 if you want, they fit on my 3'' aal kit. How does the magnaflow sound?

Gotcha. My exhaust is so rusted I wouldn't be surprised if the stock cat went bad relatively soon; the muffler was ready to fall out before I replaced it! Thanks for the info! I may go for 33s, I'm just concerned about re-gearing, it's my DD so that makes everything a little more difficult. The Magnaflow sounds great! Not too loud, but more aggressive than stock.

Your gonna wanna regear at 32s anyway. On my 31s I feel like a slug compared to stock. Another reason I'm against 32s, is because when the inevitable blow out in the middle of f*** knows where, theres gonna be a tire shop just waiting to charge you 250 for an un common size. 31s and 33s(or metric equivalents) are on most pick ups so you could buy it cheap and get a real replacement when you get back to a normal town.
