Default New XJ owner with questions

Hi gang I just bought a 92 Cherokee that will be handed to my son in a couple of years.
My laptop crashed, so I'm doing this on my tablet, so ignore the spelling and poor grammar.

My plan is to make this Cherokee 100% reliable and add a lift that will not effect hiway handling.
I don't think I want the lift any higher than 3". 10-50's will
be about the max tires I want.

After I give this Cherokee to my son. I will do the same for my youngest son. The third Cherokee will be for me.
I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time reading this forum and appreciate any help you give.
Thanks! tdi4i6

A little, I've owned a 91 Dodge CTD for a long time.
I also bought my wife a Jetta TDI back in 06 before we split up.
I also have a normally aspirated diesel in a International tractor.
By far the 12 valve CTD is my favorite engine.
