2000 Sport - First Jeep
Recently I picked up a 2000 Sport with around 164,500 miles. This is my first Jeep so was looking around the web for common issues and stumbled upon this forum.
Looks like there is a wealth of info to peruse so I am happy I found this rabbit hole to learn more about her.
Plans are to complete all the deferred maintenance, fix some rust, and see where it ends up.

very nice, welcome to Xj ownership! Good things to take care of initially would be flush the cooling system, check diff fluids, and make sure your brakes are good to go (especially the rear drums).

Thanks for the welcome. Currently I'm driving her as is to establish a baseline and creating a list of things that need to get done.
Right now that sits at (in no particular order):
1. Change/flush fluids
2. Chase down my cylinder #3 misfire
3. Wire wheel/sand rust and paint (leaning towards Mastercoat, open to suggestions though)
4. New rear bumper (currently has a rust hole)
5. New bushings throughout
6. Probably going to remove the door trim as they are beginning to fall off anyways
