2.5 TD in Scotland
Hi, thought I'd say hello from Fife in Scotland.
To make it amusing, I live not far from Auchtermuchty (yes really). Anyway I have recently bought a 1999 Cherokee Orvis with the VM 2.5 td engine, 5 speed manual gearbox and 88000 miles. I've been running it on veg oil - much cheaper than diesel fuel and she runs a treat. My second Jeep and I'm very happy with it. Bought on eBay dirt cheap, it will be my winter hack. I've had all sorts of 4wd - Range Rovers, Discoverys and a 110.
I've had to fix the usual accessory failures on a 10 year old car (rear wash wipe, sticky window regulator, failed thermostat and the like, but mechanically she's sound.
Catch you on this forum for the daft questions!

Hey there Jim Sharp; How's the veggie oil working out???
Just bought my first JEEP this weekend; another ebay purchase!
Here's a couple of pics from my 1st off-road (just!) venture today:
my son Ryan taking it off the road, and down to some local shoreline:
Hey: easy there boy!
God made this pad for an XJ;
Hope you're still enjoying your motor!
