Received it, painted it, sanded the mounting holes, mounted it and getting a 1.0 SWR from a Uniden 980, 18' RG-58A/U and a 5' tuneable Firestik. Never had to touch the adjustment on the antenna. I did clean/sand the 10mm bolts and used dielectric grease to clean the mounting holes/threads. A lot of gunk came out but mounting bolts run clean in and out now. Also used dielectric grease on the connectors to the antenna and mount. Mount is strong and fits perfectly. Good product!

hit a tree and it literally bent the whole tailgate outward and never broke off the mounting point on the taillight, the tailight broke off around it. so theres that trail test haha.

 

Dang got pictures of that lol. Iv bounced off rocks with mine and never had any issues. I may eventurally tie the mount into quarter guards to keep it from bending the Jeep.
