I suppose after I install the intake manifold and throttle body from XJWonders I will need to get a set of these. The current ones appear original and are looking a little, or a lot, tired.
Only problem I see is the battery in mine, replaced by the previous owner, has the terminals on the opposite sides. And if I spin the battery around it puts the positive terminal right by the hood latch - too close for comfort.

 

I'm sure Neal can modify the lengths to suit your opposite post situation if you let him know what the measurements are you need.

Who would say no to a sale? Not sure I will be ready to buy this quick, having a couple of extra expenses replacing the engine in the XJ.
