Before,,,
Hey Neal !!! I just installed my cables this evening ! The install turned out clean and looks awesome ! I couldn't be happier. Glad I went with the 4ga. Try to get some pics of my install tomorrow. I highly recommend these to everyone out there!
After !!!
Heavy duty, military grade terminals come with it ! I bought some of those felt washers to put under the terminals and also got a set of terminal covers.
You'll have to take a Dremel to the cover that goes on the end, at the main power connection on the PDC. I made a slot. Situated about 1/8\" back from the front corners of the cover, both sides. The slot is about 1/2-5/8" wide, and just deep or long enough to fit over the cables, so that they don't rub. I'd say that the slot is about 1.5" deep ? Yours may be different, especially if you are using 2ga wire. So make sure you don't remove too much !
What's really nice about the 4ga is, it's easier to route. Plus you can reuse the OEM cover that snaps onto the positive post of the alternator! 4ga are rated for 136A but can handle up to 150A. If you want a bigger alternator, you'll need the 2ga wire.
I went ahead and replaced the underhood bay light. It's OEM, but I wasn't happy with the way it was mounted from factory! I doesn't sit flat, has wires under it ? I'm going to fix it my way eventually!!!
I hope that this helps some of you tightwad procrastinators!!! This is a no brainer upgrade, well worth the money. And best of all, their coming from a great guy !!!

So.... there's a lot happening over the weekend... there's Thanksgiving tomorrow, Black Friday on... Friday lol. My daughter's birthday is on Friday as well. Cyber Monday. Etc etc
so starting right now until Tuesday, I'll have 23% off complete cable sets. (23th is my daughter's Birthday).
send me an email to meanlemons@gmail.com with "Thanksgiving23%" in the subject line.
