I really wouldn't bother but the state of NC wants me to get them. Havent had them since I bought it. Your disc setup is doing great on it!

On a '97 up, I would get stock XJ cables & use them. JY would be cheapest but you will need to disassemble all of the drum brakes to get to the cable end free. On the older XJ's I'm not sure. I have a '89 with a 8.8 & disc's but no cables as well. I'll need to figure something out on the '89. I'll probably just get some JY cables that are fit correctly & cable clamps.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and buy 2 of Crown Automotive part number CRODBC-05. The same cable fit on both sides of my '96 with no modifications. They have these at 4 Wheel Parts for $23 each, and you can find them at many other places as well.
