Hey guys - Testing the waters to see who's out there and interested in my jeep. I've been around the forums a while and have put a lot of time, research, and money into building this jeep. I've owned it for about 3 years and have made a lot of progress with it since then. I have had the jeep worked on at both Chaos Offroad and World Tour Offroad for 90% of the work done. It is currently at about 4.5" on RE short arms (completely rebuilt 3 link rock krawler long arms come with but not installed), 4.88 gears, 33s, cut fenders, completely rebuilt rear suspension with full leafs, and an awesome custom full length roof rack with ARB awning, HELLA lights, and mountain bike rack. I don't take this xj offroad as most of my time is spent driving it places to go mountain biking or camping. My goal was to design it as an overland vehicle and less of an offroad vehicle. The 3 link long arm install would make this jeep truly incredible.

I have an embarrassing $20,000 invested in parts and labor not including the cost of the jeep. The mods list is below and I have receipts for almost everything.

The jeep does still need a few things to be 100% complete. They are: install 3 link long arms up front, replace heater core (no ac), patch rust under rain gutters on roof, and finish the interior swap. The jeep originally had black and tan interior and I have been swapping it out with the gray and black interior. The dash pieces on the corners need to be swapped once the dash is removed to fix the heater core. The front seats could use a seat cover or replaced if you OCD like I am--they are dirty.

My jeep currently sits in my underground parking garage and it gets about 50 miles a week put on it. Jeep has about 156k miles on it and mechanically everything is great. UPDATE: I am taking the jeep on a trip to cape lookout beach next month so I am making a few repairs on the jeep. I'm having all of the A/C rebuilt as we speak. This will include new heater core, evaporator, and blower motor. I will be having a ZJ steering upgrade (tie rod and drag link) installed soon. There will also be a new rear Tom Woods driveshaft (to match the front one).

Only thing this jeep needs is the 3 link installed!
