1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic Edition 4WD 4.0L FI OHV 6cyl 210,823 miles FOR SALE
I’m asking for $2,500 with the price negotiable. I’m asking for more than I paid because the amount of money I’ve put into it as you can read through the history below. I’m selling it because I can’t afford the maintenance and gas while in graduate school in Atlanta. I’ve provided as much of the history as I can remember since I’ve owned it. The jeep has only had roughly 18k miles put on it since 2014 because it sat at home while I was away for college. I have most of the receipts to prove all of this. I have three copies of each key (door lock key and ignition key). I also have a repair manual for it. Message me if you have any additional questions or want more pictures.
More info:
I can’t guarantee much but I can guarantee the following:
Are you looking for something to nickel and dime you? PERFECT! This car can help you whether its fixing the ABS or adding a lift kit on this baby. JEEP stands for just empty every pocket.
Are you looking to argue with your significant other about spending money on your Jeep again? I can promise you that this Jeep will do it for you.
Want an invincible engine? Let me tell you what. Rumor has it the prototype in-line 6 engine was taken out of the Jeeps shot with an AK47, dropped in the Mariana trench, and nuked. Afterwards, they threw it back in the Jeep and the engine ran like a beauty.
Are you wanting a jeep you aren't afraid to take into wild places because it'll get damaged? This Jeep will go anywhere you want to take it. Jeep XJ drivers are the most fearless Jeep drivers around. Wrangler drivers might back down because they don't want to break something, but this jeep was DESIGNED to take damage and break.

-Hard to start. Sometimes it struggles to start and takes a few attempts. I’ve replaced the idle air control, fuel filter, throttle position sensor, and crankshaft position and tested the battery and fuel pressure.
