zone 4.5 lift question
hey everyone new to this forum and had a question. I recently ordered the zone 4.5 add-a-leaf lift. most lifts I see are higher in the front than the rear but that's not my style. I like my rack going forward. so i wanted to get the rear about .5" higher. does anyone who has this lift know how much of the 4.5" lift in the rear comes from the shackles themselves? I was thinking of just getting longer shackles than the ones supplied in the kit. thanks in advance

I've done a few of the 4 1/2" AAL lifts. They don't sit bad. The shackles are boomerang style 1 1/2" lift. If your leaves are worn out, the AAL would be a band aid for weak springs. Odds are you'll be fine. It won't sit weird.

Unless you want your ride to sit like this...I'd advise getting AT LEAST new stock packs and add a leafs or bastard pack. This kit was a rough country 4.5 add a leaf but its the same general idea. Aal and shackle. That's 1.5" lower in the back via flare measurement. I had to put a 1"zero rate block under the springs to get it somewhere close to level. Hoping the front will sag. Rear will go first probably
