What lift kit are you going with? A quality 6.5" lift would cost more than that...

You planning on doing the gears yourself?

Rethink Rough Country

And yeah, budget more for gears. You'd be lucky to find someone to install them for ~$300

I'd rather spend the money on a quality long arm kit. I personally like Rubicon Express a lot, quality parts and reasonable prices. Rough Country is the last kit I'd buy, and I wouldn't keep short arms if I ever put a huge lift on mine. And with that much lift I'd run at least 35's, and 4.88 gears. And I'd swap rear axles if you have the D35 now.

Check Zone Offroad. You can also save money by going shorter on the lift...

Then save up and make that budget larger. Don't jump the gun on a crappy kit that you'll end up completely replacing in the near future anyway

As for time and price wise its all I'm gonna go with and I'm not bashing yall but other ways I herd rough country isn't all that bad and being 5 speed would 4.88 be to much

If you're going 35s, go 4.56 with your 5 speed
