Default YJ ebrake cables on XJ

my rear is about 6" at the moment. it's annoying but I have to put up with it until I have time to tinker with it
my stock e brake cables do not reach. I read that 2 passenger side cables from a 91 YJ will be more than long enough

any better options out there before I go pick these up?
8.8 rear with drums

easiest way is to lengthen the adjusting rod using metriicc all thread rod .
