Default xj track bar at 5-6 in of lift

I lifted my 92 roughly 6 inches. I relocated the stock track bar mounting hole about a inch over. Looks like my front diff is not centered though. i was going to buy an adjustable double shear and saw some come with a drop mount. Do i need the drop mount? Seems they always come loose and cause problems....

i have both the drop bracket and adjustable track bar never had a problem with the bracket i would go with a adjustable track bar and frame brace but avoid the ones with the tre end as with the factory one jm2cw

I would definitely encourage double shear; I'll never go back. They come with a "drop bracket" b/c of the mounting style; you can't have double shear without a new mounting. They don't ALL come loose. I've got the IRO setup and love it. Mine haven't loosened up....

I just installed the Iron Rock Off Road adjustable with drop bracket on my jeep with roughly 6 to 7 inches of lift and it works really well. It cured my death wobble! Its very beefy and they are a great company to work with.

x3 for IRO.

I too have their double shear trac bar and its beef. It made the front end feel a whole lot tighter over the rough stuff and keeps DW at bay on the highway.

The Iron Man Fab setup with the brace is a great product as well. The brace will help if you rock crawl and/or beat on it. But for the typical trail ride and mud a double shear without the brace would suffice.
