Default XJ Controll Arms

I have your basic 4.5" Lift with fixed lower control arms and stock uppers. Not a serious offroader, Looking into long arms, worth the money or not? Or go cheap route and get adjustable upper and lower arms?

There really a difference in having fixed or adj?

Adj. will ride better, but if you are not a serious offroader, then don't upgrade to long arms. Simple.

If you're not really going to wheel too hard then I would save the cash that you'd spend on long arms.

You could probably go for some LCA drop brackets to smooth out the ride a bit if you're not happy with the ride.

As far as wheeling, most of it is two tracking. Michigan has few good ORV Parks I've been to witch have mostly mud, rocks, and technical trails, also the Sand Dunes.

Just looking for a better ride sense I am on the road a lot, Also my upper control arms bushings are shot so looking to upgrade, but if I go adjustable I'm going to do adjustable lower arms. Right thing to do?

Adjustable control arms will do nothing for ride quality. They will allow you to precisely locate your axle (wheelbase) and adj uppers will allow you to precisely dial in your pinion angle/castor angle.

For improved ride quality, Long Arms and great shocks.
