Default Wobble question

Did a recent lift on my 01 using the complete Rustys 3" lift with new springs steering stabilizer and balanced wheels. I had a shop I trust put it in and do an alignment, I noticed a pretty bad wobble in the front end only at speeds between 45 and 50 mph. Any thoughts on where I should look first for problems?

Did the kit come with new upper and lower control arms?

This vehicle did have a power steering failure about three years ago that I had repaired by the dealership (before I got into learning the mechanics). Would that be symptomatic or cause of a linkage wear or failure?

I would at least get lower adjustable control arms.

Had a friend observe in a chase far along side, said it looked like the front wheel was wobbling forward and back , not up down or in and out. Starting to buy the lower arms analysis, ordering from rustys tomorrow...

Good call. I installed the adjustable lower arms with the forged ends from Rusty's, set to the recommended starting length which looked about 1/4" longer than stock and she's smooth as silk now at all speeds....

Old arms didn't look all that bad with simple visual inspection so either I can't see the defect or it was just a mild castor adjustment issue. Wife says she complained of a wobble a couple of years back when she was driving it in stock form, something about me not listening, dunno, I wasn't really listening to her...

jack it back up, loosen the front stub axle nuts and make sure the hub bearings are ok.. mine were bad and i couldnt tell with the stubs tightenend down. as soon as i removed the nuts to change front u joint. it became apparent that the bearings were bad.. i replaced them and havent had a problem since.. even before i got it realigned due to a lift swap...
