Wobble question
Did a recent lift on my 01 using the complete Rustys 3" lift with new springs steering stabilizer and balanced wheels. This vehicle did have a power steering failure about three years ago that I had repaired by the dealership (before I got into learning the mechanics). Would that be symptomatic or cause of a linkage wear or failure?
Had a friend observe in a chase far along side, said it looked like the front wheel was wobbling forward and back , not up down or in and out. Starting to buy the lower arms analysis, ordering from rustys tomorrow...
Good call. I installed the adjustable lower arms with the forged ends from Rusty's, set to the recommended starting length which looked about 1/4" longer than stock and she's smooth as silk now at all speeds....
