WJ Steering Linkage Lengths Request
Hey all,
So i picked up a good start on a wj knuckle swap for my built d30, i just need some help on the steering linkage themselves-
for my tie rod, i assume the length is the same as stock knuckle to knuckle, which i measured as 52 & 1/2" long...... I intend on just buying the jks tie rod and using the offset wj ends.
What i NEED to know is...

This is going to vary across the board.
Tie rod length is not the same as stock.
Drag Link length is going to change dramatically and no one is going to be able to give you an answer.
You're going to have to measure.

It's this long.
If you use these TREs then you're going to have to hack off the front inch of the coil mount on the axle and the lower sway bar link mounts.

I don't understand how you're building this... are you going to buy the exact length of dom you need and guess before you weld it up?

Low range..... Prettymuch I have a full d30 out of the jeep that is built and ready to go. So I'm just gonna install at he knuckles, get the jks tie rod, and order a custom drag link from wfo concepts (you tell them the length and they cut/tap it to required length and whatnot.....)
And frank thanks for the link I didn't realize that was so cheap.... I just planned in gettin cheap ones from advanced but that'll cost about he same for a lesser product!
