Default WJ knuckle swap questions

Ok, I have searched high and low and all over for definitive answers on doing the D30 WJ knuckle swap. Now I do know I need the jks spacers and XJ hubs. My question is what ball joints do I use? Do I use the same ball joints for my XJ d30 or do I need to get the WJ ball joints to complete and correctly swap on the WJ knuckles. And dont say "look it up" or "search for it"... have spent almost 2 weeks looking with very little answers or very vague information. Going to the pick and pull tomorrow to get knuckles, new drive shafts and some non disco shafts and maybe a transfer case shifter

I'm kind of in the same boat as far as researching my *** off over my upcoming wj swap (hopefully). You need the WJ lower ball joints to fit correctly in the WJ knuckles xj/zj/tj/yj or wj or even jk (I think) upper ball joints should work. Just get a full set of wj ball joints since replacing only the lowers is nearly impossible. There are some good write-ups on NAXJA that go pretty in depth.

i just finished doing this swap, w/ 1 ton otk gm tre's & dom steering linkage, had to raise the track over the axle. its a worthwhile swap, brakes & steering are both way improved. theres a good video on you tube of it, go there and search martinbuilt,

XJ upper ball joint, WJ lower ball joint.

What has been the total cost for this conversion for those who have done it? TRE, track bar, brackets, brakes, calipers, pads, bolts, lines, etc.

Awesome, thanks. I had to cancel my junk yard run this morning, but ordered the ball joints. From a few write ups it looks pretty spendy swap. The NAXJA write ups are pretty detailed as far as install, but clarification on the ball joints make life easier
