Default Wiring help for dash clock

Got myself a dash clock and I've seen the two main links about wiring them but it doesn't make 100% clear sense to me so I was wondering if anyone could help clarify for me. I've got the wires labeled.

Black - ground(-)
Blue- dim display input(+)
Pink - battery input(+)
Orange/black - panel intensity input(+)
Purple/black - ignition on input(+)

If anyone could give me a hand on how to wire this right to the interior fuse panel it would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

Your dont have factory plug ? If not just hook up black to ground and pink to constant fused 12 volts should be good to go.

no I don't. It's going into a 95. What about the other color wires? Am I good to just cap them off?

Could use the radio wires. Switched, constant on, and dimmer.
Also, my 96 there is a switched accessory port on the interior fuse panel.

honestly I just want it to work.. I don't need it to dim or anything, as long as it lights up and holds time that's all I care. What's the interior fuse labeled as? I'd like to wire it to the interior fuse panel

The port on fuse panel is marked 'ACC
I believe clock will need 3 wires to work.
Ground.
Constant 12v (pink) keeps time with vehicle off.
Switched 12v (purple/black) turns on display.

all those are already in the radio, you can look for them in the radio wiring without having to run new cables all the way to the fuse box, besides the amount of current pulled from the clock is so little that the radio circuit won't even notice it.

Yes clocks gotta have constant power to keep time same as memory for radio. Take along time to kill the battery .

The radio was my first suggestion also.

I still think I'm going to go this route that way it's a separate circuit that's fused

I think they did away with it when the radio took over the clock function in the 90's models. I put one in my '96 just for fun, but its a different (i think later) version. Piggybacked off the radio circuits and stole an unused dash light circuit from the transmission mode switch that I dont have. It works perfect and the light dims properly and everything.
