Bilstein length with 35s and 4.5" lift
Ok I know this has been heated over and over but I for the life of me can't figure this whole shock game out. I have 4.5 lift with 35s so up travel isn't much. I'm really want some decently long shocks because I just bought a 3 link and and want the down travel obviously. I was really set on bilsteins so if someone could point me in the right direction with a link to buy them with the correct length. I know I should wait till the long arms are on and measure but then i'm without shocks so it needs to be all done at the same time.

I have about 4" lift with 35s. I also have a Dana 44, shock eye conversion and BPEs in front and an 8.8 and BPEs in rear so I'm not sure how applicable this will be but I run 33-151663 fronts (10.02 travel) and 33-185606 (8.44 travel) rears. I max out the rear (or at least very nearly) in flex but any longer and I bottom them out. I plan to do internal shock hoops soon.

Fronts are fine though you could probably get by with 33-104652 if you wanted. Just make sure you're riding on the bumpstops and not the shocks.

write down the extended and collapsed lengths of a few models. Go out to your jeep with a tape measure. That is the only way

Those part numbers listed above have eye-eye and will require an adapter on top to post.
Get the correct front shocks.
www.truckspring.com has all the info you need. Looks like 24-185943 (16.97"collapsed/28.44"extended) is what you want.
