Default Wiring, Help!!!

Okay guys, I just mounted and wired 5 KC Daylighters on my roof. It stays on for about a minute and then the fuse blows. What is causing this and how do I fix it? Would putting a relay in help?

Put in a relay, and make sure you're using the correct amp fuse. Not having a relay puts all the strain on the switch

Exactly.
Also, depending on the power draw, you may need to wire them in two sets instead of one.

Yes you need relays for the lights a must really if installed correctly. Then a main concern is the size wiring that you ran to supply them the longer the run the larger the wire. For those 5 lights you should use at least a 10 ga wire from the battery to the roof for that load.

I have 4 sets of Hellas mounted 2 sets on bumper,1 set front of rack, 1 set rear of rack backup/work light each set has its own relay and switch. I used 10ga wire for the supply lines to rack mounted ones (because of length of run) and 12ga to the bumper.
