Any of you wiring gurus can help me figure what goes where? Nabbed a pair of grand cherokee seats, 2000 limited, 6 way adjustable. Want to put them in my 2001 xj using the grand cherk mounts (different project). I'd really appreciate someone looking at the pics maybe telling me which is pos/neg/seat heater etc if you could. I nabbed the dash switches from a different grand (2001 60th anniversary). Please see pics and see if you can help please.

So according to this:

Grand Cherokee WJ - Power / Heated Seat upgrade wiring
DRIVER SEAT TO PASSENGER SEAT TO PCI / Power / Ground
Pin 3 (YL/VT) (not required) PCI Bus
Pin 4 (RED) Pin 3 (Red/LB) 12V fused Power
Pin 5 (BLK) Pin 2 (BLK) Ground
Pin 1 (PK/BK) Pin 4 (PK/BK)
Pin 2 (DG/WT) Pin 1 (DG/WT)
Pin 6 (BR/WT) Pin 5 (BR/WT)
Pin 8 (BK/VT) Pin 6 (BK/VT)


Red wires from both seats go together and to a fused power source. Blacks go to a shared ground. And the other colored wires go to... the other seats??? Huh??

From what I gather is the heated seats are controlled by the body pcm. That's the other wires. Getting the heated part to work might be difficult.

Only way I could see is wiring in a relay with a toggle switch...dunno if if the seats have a safety cut off though
