So went bear hunting yesterday and we went down a gnarly road....
When all of the sudden it came to me! What if i made a fold down windshield gaurd. So it will start with a frame around my windshield where my lights are (those will be removed) and it will outline it... then i will build a rectangle out of like deer wire fence and have it hinge out of the way and secure to the hood and vice versa when it is up. What do you think?

On some of the european wheelers you will see a cable or wire going from the roof rack or top of the roof down to the bumper over the fender line, those are to push tree branches away from the windshields

 

Those are called Limb-Raisers.
