Go get another quote that's crazy. I have customs shop in town that does mine way cheaper because I bring him all my Vehicles whenever I need something I can't do. But definitely go pro.

The other two places in town that do it were actually more expensive. One place charged me 30$ extra cause I have the two piece front windows. Every shop was right at 270$ or higher. But I have an appointment with a guy for 185 next week.

My XJ has a pretty much flat rear window, ..... well, I just took a closer look and the rear hatch window and the cargo area windows seem to be slightly curved along the vertical axis. I'd like to know more about the gotchas that come up w/amateur kit installation. How is the material held in place? I have a heat gun if those are much help in the process. Is the material difficult to handle?

I did mine. It was a pain in the ***. If I ever do it again (which I need to, it looks like hell after several years, and is all scratched up due to loads) I'll pay someone else to do it. All the other windows, no problem, but that back glass is curved in 2 dimensions. And it's large. Just my double Lincolns.

If you are going to tint you might as well go full blown ghetto.
