Recently installed a brand new master switch on the drivers side. Had to replace it because the old one would not get the drivers window up. The new switched worked fine for a few days. In that time I had done some other work. Jeep was pretty much just parked for a few days and i did not use the windows. The only electrical stuff I messed with was replacing the cam sensor inside the distributor, cleared the computer codes, and i also had the battery in and out several times. Fired it up the other day and could not get any windows to roll up or down. None of the lights on any of the window switches come on and none of them work (including rear and passenger switches.) Power locks seem to work just fine. I tried to find a fuse for the power windows, could not find one. Read on the interweb that it should be bank 28 in the fuse panel by the passenger floor. My bank only goes up to #27. Owners manual does not list any fuse for power windows. Read about the jumper wire fix, but that doesnt seem to be for my particular problem. Any ideas?

Look at diagram, up left of fuses, it's a circuit breaker - space 28

Seem a fuse at 18 and a circuit breaker at 28.

 

Fuse at 18..Breaker/relay at 28.

I was actually just paying him a compliment though, in case that was overlooked!

 

Mymy windows are not working up or down any of them they all work fine one day I switch got locked in the down position without being known window rolled all the way down and I have no idea how long it was held went to hit the other switch none of them work now where would a fuse be located on a 95 XJ
