Window Tint
Been pondering on peeling the factory tint off my XJ and gettin it redone, its got some Lexus tan look goin on with it. So for all you guys who have gotten your windows tinted, post up some pics and tell what % tint you have.

do you have the factory smoked glass? or is it currently a film tint? because if you have the factory smoked glass i don't think you can peel that. any who...look at the tint on my album. the rear window & rear passenger windows all have limo tint on top of the factory smoked tint.

i dont have a problem at all with backing up. i had a car with 5% all the way around and that was bad becasue youre lower to the ground and i had the front two done as well. you couldnt see anything. now i only have the rear ones done, so its not bad at all. and like i said, being higher up helps to see too.

since my limo tint is over the smoked glass, mine is really dark. visibility through them is great during the day and right before sunset. but come night time, depending on how lit the street is, i can still use my side mirrors. but it's there's not much street lights, i literally have to look outside my window just to be sure that i don't hit anything.

I am not exactly sure what % mine is (i bought it with the tint done) but mine at night if there are no lights around it is kind of hard to see. I have tint on all windows (including the windshield but it is like 6 inches down from the top) I like it but I am going to be adding a light to the back of my jeep sometime that way I can see better.

the one below is a pic of one of my stickers, but it shows the tint also, this is how dark it is all around.

I did 5% over my factory privacy glass. 35% on fronts to keep it legal around here. I was thinking of removing the 5% and just have matching tint all around.
I've been posting mine a lot this week lol.
I'm not sure what %, it was tinted by the previous owner. But compared to other's pics, I would guess 10% in all rears, and 25% in the fronts, windsheild untinted.

and one from a few months after I got it, the cleanest it will ever have been, but it shows the tint really well.

sorry for all the pics lol
