To all the guys that have ordered their winch bumpers just raw steel and decided to paint them, my question to you is this.......
First--Is it fairly easy to do for someone that has never done anything like painting a bumper i.e. myself?
Sencond--How much is involved. Just primer then color?
Third--How long (typically) does the paint last before it starts to chip (excluding beating the hell out of it on the trail)?
Fourth--I want to go this route to save money. Im concerned about how it will turn out, i dont want it to turn out s****y but i do have faith that i could do a good job.

i just put some roll on bed liner on my bare steel bumpers cost was about $70 for a gallon on dupli color bedliner at advance auto parts came with brush, roller and tray and after 5 coats on my bumpers i still have about half of it left just incase
yeah and i did 2 of them over 2 days letting the first 2 coats sit the longest and as for hearing stuff about the bedliner rattle can stuff flakes in no time ive heard nothing but good things on the dupli color roll on stuff i used
