Default winch bumper

Right now I have approx. a 2.5" lift on the front of my XJ. It is the stock coils and teraflex 2" spacers. If I was to grab the OR Fab HD winch bumper that weighs approx. 75lbs would this make my front end sag any? I won't be getting the winch right away. Just the bumper for the meantime...

Comparing a 15 pound bumper to a 75 pound bumper...
It may not make much of a difference but the winch will add the extra weight to make the front end go down maybe 1/2"

My bumper was about 100 lbs. I had to add 3/4 inch spacer after the lift and it will be back to about factory height after the winch.

When I first bought my 3" Rustys lift it came with 2 choices for front coils either stock 3" or a set for one with a winch and bumper same price. My winch weighs right at 100# a 9500# with 100' of wire rope.

So yes yours will sag with just the bumper on the old coils.

are you adding a bumper/tire carrier or anything with some heft to the rear?? it might actually level it all out
i have a jcr defender front w/9500 winch on the front vs a jcr crusader/carrier on the rear + my spare and the jeep sits pretty level

Yes it will sag. Mine sagged with new RE 3.5" coils (high spring rate)

More weight = more sagging I don't care what lift you have.

Thanks for the help everyone. I actually ordered an OR Fab winch bumper last night. I tested the weight by myself sitting on the front of the hood on bumper. I weigh 172lbs and had my brother take the measurement before and after. With me on the front end of the jeep at 172lbs it sagged about 3/4". So not to bad. I will just be getting the rustys 3" HD coils and possibly a 3/4" spacer to help make up any sag.

You should be in good shape with the Rustys 3" HD coils. My bumper is not quite as heavy as yours but still 50+# and remained at 3" with winch you may not have to use a spacer.
