Will tcase drop hurt anything

yep. sye is the best thing you can do.
however, i run with a yj yoke on my rear shaft at between 6-7 inches with no vibes. but i'm waiting to do a doubler and put my sye on my 00 since it only has a drop in it right now.

I have had a 4.5in Rough Country Lift with 1in T case drop in for about 11 years now and have never had a problem. Now SYE maybe the better option but I haven't had any issues without one. I don't off-road it a ton, but it has been its fair share.
