Default Will This Steering Stabilizer Work on my XJ?

Someone's posting an ad on Craigslist for what he claims is a new Moog steering stabilizer that would've gone on his 1988 Jeep XJ. He says the part number is PFO3H1A, which Google doesn't find ANYWHERE on the interwebs. Since it was supposed to fit on an 88XJ, I'm assuming it'll fit on my 96XJ. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks.

The ad is here: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/pts/2590759381.html

(If CF will allow the link...)

I'm not aware of a big difference, 84-01. It should work fine for you.

That's kinda what I thought. From what I've seen, all the manufacturers list their stabilizers as fitting 84-01. I just want to make sure it's actually FOR an XJ. Just because he got it for his 88 doesn't mean it actually fit it! It could be a stabilizer for a Subaru for all I know. Google didn't help, so I'm hoping someone here can.

any stabilizer will be fine... but honestly... you do not need one.... I do not have one... mine does not wobble, bump steering vibrate or jibble jooble...

steering stabilzers are great on bikes... but serve little purpose on a PROPERLY setup Jeep

Heck, for $20 just put it in and try it out! (That's what she said.)

For $20, I'll just replace what's on there now. I got a death wobble developing and in addition to replacing the stabilizer, I'm replacing the track bar bushings. (The suspension shop said the whole track bar needed to be replaced, but I kinda doubt that.) Hopefully, bad bushings are what's causing the wobble. All the other bushings and the ball joints are good.
