PLEASE NOTE:

People tend to be very closed minded on this forum, and if you think nitrous oxide is a stupid idea for a jeep, please keep your opinion to yourself. You don't HAVE to read further if you don't want to.

Nitrous oxide CAN be a fun, effective performance booster when applied correctly and safely, and IT IS A GIVEN that ANY type of cooling/supplementary oxygen/boost will increase chamber pressure and lead to higher stresses within the engine and drivetrain. THIS IS NOT NEWS.

That said,
Constructive criticism only please.

So. Any juiced builds?
Ive had a couple sprayed xj's over the years. One with a 75 jet and a 2wd one with 120 jets. Along with about 15 other personal vehicles I've had on the bottle.

Imo, run a wet fogger system, run a seperate fuel system for the nitrous. Don't go over 50 -75 jets. Install a real wideband. And run a window switch.

Yeah I'll go with too damn fast. I never woulda found out except for one time this speed demon with a duramax truck went flying by me and I decided to speed up and use him as radar bait. I had it floored a good 10 seconds or so when I realized I was catching up to him then actually ended up flying by him. 100 is about 4 o'clock on the speedo and it's sitting at straight up 6 so probably around 120 lol

My speedo is 5 mph slow so I probably did hit 120. I never seem to hit a speed limiter when I had the wheels jacked up off the ground. My Z71 is tuned and has no governor lol

X2 on the wet shot. A dry shot will be too lean and cause detonation thus destroying the engine. I've dynosim spec'ed one to see what would happen with a 100 shot. It calculated an AF ratio of 22.7:1 on a dry kit (catastrophic failure) and 15.2:1 with a wet kit. Playing with the fuel pressure in wet kit lines could easily fix it. Since you've done your homework, I'm sure you know a wide band 02 sensor is really necessary and its smarter to start rich and work towards leaning. From my personal experience, my bored and stroked motor (no NOS or boost) stops making power when the AF ratio drops below 11.45:1 (dyno tested with 5 runs) and seems to do best at around 12.5:1 so I would say start at 12:1 or so and see how it does. I assume your gonna run a stand alone tuner with the NOS?

I think I would also, in your shoes and wishing to run NOS, port and polish the head, upgrade my injectors to the 703's and run a 99+ manifold for better flow. I have heard of people using windshield washer fluid injected into the intake manifold to keep cylinder temps down, but I have no personal experience with it.

I ran a dry 100jet on my 90 for 3-4 months before moving to a wet kit
