I'm finally getting around to lifting my white '97 XJ I've owned for 14 years..... LOL. This XJ was my first vehicle and I still own it. I've been fortunate enough to have jobs where I've always had a company vehicle. The XJ only gets driven on average about 3,000 miles a year.
The shocks have finally went out on it and it definitely needs some more loving in the suspension so I have no reason not to lift it now seeing that it needs some replacement parts anyways. I've decided that I'm going to put the RC 3" lift with full leaf packs on it and most likely BFG A/T tires on it. I don't wheel or mud, it is most definitely a pavement princess.
I'm having a hard time deciding between the black Crager soft 8's and the American Racing Baja wheels. I only have like 1 picture of a white XJ with the AR Baja wheels and it seems the black D window wheels are a dime a dozen and are very popular.
If you guys have any pics of some white XJs with the Baja wheels or any polished wheel can you please share them? Matter of fact, share them with black wheels also, I need comparison! Yes, I've seen all of the white Jeep threads and clubs on the forum. I've been looking for hours this week before I place my order for wheels and tires. I'm just having a hard time finding some white XJs with polished wheels!
Alloy looks much better. IMO, the Moab wheels look better on the Cherokee than the TJs/LJs. These are Quadratec 16" Moab wheels with OEM Jeep Center Caps painted to match. 3.5" Lift and 32" Tires. I like to go for the almost factory look. The goal is to build it how you think it should've came from the factory.
