Default Wheel Spacers, Do i really need them?

I am in the process of upgradin my lift from a frankin-lift of a jumble of lift parts to to a 4.5" Full lift set up with full length coils and 3.5 leafs with 1.5" shackles etc etc... and i just picked up a used set of 33" BFG mud terrains. I know that i have some fender trimming to do, and to adjust my steering stops and add proper bump stops but do i really need 1.25" wheel spacers too? i would really like to do with out them if i can

Are you still running stock rims? If so then yes you will otherwise you'll look awfully skinny. Your other option is to get properly backspaced rims.

How wide are the 33s you're getting?

I'm running 2" wheel spacers with stock rims. 3" lift with trimmed fenders on 33 x 12.50. My turning sucked before I put them on. Glad I did and I have had no issues over a year with them. The out side of the tire is flush with my stock flares I put back on.

YES!!! You will need spacers, or new wheels. I have the 15x8 TJ Ravine wheels with 33x12.50 tires on a 4'' lift with trimmed fenders. My tires rubbed everywhere possible... coil buckets, front wheel wells, lower control arms, front chassis rail, coils front fender skin, rear wheel wells, leaf springs, and the rear fenders

Before spacers:

Then I bought these 2'' wheel spacers on Ebay for about $150 shipped. You can see some of the spots where i was rubbing in these pics

And this is what she looks like now with the spacers installed. It still rubs the fenders and front wheel wells when it flexes, but that is becuase of my lack of bumpstops right now. It no longer rubs the control arms, coils, chassis, or leafs though!! and you gotta love the wider stance lol
hope this helps, and sorry i had to make it three posts. I am having trouble uploading pics lately
