Skip rotors, calipers, and studs. Just buy them as new.

I took the calipers because they cost $15 at the junkyard and I got a $20 core so saved $10. Not much but I had to take them off anyway to get where I wanted.

Ok I have my axle and all the brake parts except the ZJ lug bolts. But I do have two question. Whats the best way to connect the parking brake cables? I have read I can use one of the XJ cables and a 97 ford explorer cable for the long side. The ford cable has the loop at the end the XJ doesnt. So whats the best way to loop the XJ's cable?

I got these lug studs they were a perfect fit and I saw a guy just loop it over and use a tiny u bolt to hold the cable but I just bought the Dorman ones with the right ends. I wanted my disc brake swap to look factory.

Should just post my entire parts list. I would do it but I'm not in the office.

He said he already has it all so didn't think it was necessary.

Eh didn't catch that. I really need to get the parts together to do mine and do an actual writeup so we can just link to it when people ask questions.

Im new to the jeep world even know I have owned this XJ for a few years now. Im on a budget so im slowly biulding my XJ. It has almost 230000 miles on it. So after I get my my 8.25 in and get my disc brake conversion done. My next step is to get a new windshield and fix my sagging headliner, then save for the engine rebuild kit. After that and it is mechanically straight. I will save for my SYE and lift kit probably rough country xseries 4.5. I have done the injector swap didnt see alot of difference in that. And I see alot of people doing the H4 conversion so I might do that. I hope the XJ is worth all that time and money. Oh does anyone know how to program a key fob for my 01 xj. Sorry for the story of my plans. Thanks again

Add a supplemental headlight harness before doing the H4s.
