Eh. I'm running the standard JB conversions kit. It's fine, but I would say advance adapters is the best. JB doesn't come with a replacement main lock ring like the AA kit.
Not to butt in on the thread, but i too am looking into getting a SYE i have a 4.5" rough country lift with new control arms, never dropped the transfer case. And have abeen getting a slight vibration but nothing serious more serious is a "rubbing"
"knocking" when i am going over 35mph and take my foot o thr gas an also when i accelerate abouve 35mph... will a SYE fix that???

I was considering the JB conversion myself.

AA is also 32 spline. If you think of the amount of people happily running the JB with the reused snap ring, I think that's a pretty good answer to your question.

I'm not saying it is necessary to replace... I never said that... I said it didn't come with another one. Which was a pain in the *** when mine broke.

Good point, 94XjSport94. I think it would be wise for all SYE manufacturers to include at least a partial rebuild kit with the SYE kit. It would save them a lot of trouble with returns due to installer error and such.

Good point. I will have to pick one up before I install the SYE.

Sure RR is making the money. But if I have a problem with something, whether or not it is with the product itself, or an install issue, I'm willing to bet Serious would be quick to offer up help. Crying to RR? Ever think that maybe, just maybe, he might be trying to find out if he can offer a better price because RR may have changed something on their end? If you don't wanna buy from him then don't. But don't slam the guy for trying to run his business. I'd spend the extra money all day long.
Not only that, Frank is a hell of a guy. I have picked his brain and received very useful information from him at no charge. He has made phone calls to me and walked me through things w/o selling me a single thing. Don't HATE appreciate!
