Default what size shocks do i need

i bought a 94 cherokee from a buddy of mine. it was his beater for the last 4 years. He bought a 95, and pulled most of the good stuff off this one, and put spare parts he had on this one. He told me it had a 2 inch lift in the front. I lifted the rear with a 2" aal, and a 2 inch shackle, and now it looks level to me. I can't measure the hub center to fender as he cut the fenders. It has 30.5 inch tall tires on it now. From the floor to the fender is 38.5 inches. Since i lifted the back, the back shocks are maxed out. there is no extension left in the shocks. I plan on runnin 33's, but these tires have some tread left on them and i'll run them until november or so. I tried to measure for new shocks by lifting the front till i hit the bumpstops. I don't have a jack that goes tall enough, i got it close, but not close enough. At ride height, the shock is at 20 inches. When i tried to max the suspension, i got the shock to about 17 inches, but i still have 2.75 inches before i hit the bumpstop. The tire doesn't come close to hitting, but i'm not sure about when i have 33's. Should i get the bilsteins with 15 inch compressed, or even less? How much extension should i look for? how much do you actually use? Basically, i don't have a way to properly measure how much lift i really have, and i don't have a way to max out my suspension, What size shocks do you suggest

You can measure from the top of the axle tube to the "frame". Stock numbers are listed somewhere on here, just goggle the info. Wish I could be of more help at the moment, but I'm on the app.

Found that stock height from top of axle tube to frame is 6.75 inches front and 6 inches rear. I'm at 9.5 roughly in the front and 10 in the rear. I pulled the shocks off to measure what they were length wise. Front shocks were 21 inches fully extended and the rears were 20.5. I ordered shocks from serious of road as he seemed to have the best pricing. I ordered shocks for 3.5 to 4 inch lift. The fronts are 15 to 24.5. The rears are 14.75 to 24. Is 4 inches of shock droop enough? Will I bottom out the front shocks with only 3 inches if lift?

is 3 inches of uptravel enough? if i buy the 4 inch shocks, this will give me 5 inches of uptravel, but only 4 inches of downtravel. if get the 5-6 inchs shocks, it will give me 3 inches of uptravel, but 8 inches of downtravel. will my front end even droop 4 inches?

It depends on how your setting your rig up.

What tire size?

i'm going to run 33's, the front fenders are cut quite a bit. i have 30.5 inch tall tires on it now, and with the suspension compressed to were the shock is at 17 inches, i have quite a bit of clearence for them, but i'm not sure about the 33's because they will also be set out farther from the axle due to the tires. I'm going to try and do mostly trail stuff, but the local dunes/desert area is only 15 minutes away compared to 2 hours.
