I bought the XJ used so I am not sure the brand of lift/shocks. They are not branded so may be generic. It was advertised with a 3" lift. They are silver in color. There are 4 shocks and a steering stabilizer? across the front.
When I bought mine, I was told it had a Rough Country lift. No labeling on the shocks or any of the other parts, and that stamping looks just like mine.
That is what I thought about the stamping.
But you saying they might be Rough Country narrowed the search.
So looking at new Rough Country shocks was a bust cause I did not see those part numbers or a shot like you posted.
But researching used Rough Country shocks on Ebay led to these:
Very similar markings, you can barely see them at the second link, and notice no labels.
I am pretty good at researching stuff like this. LOL.
Just have to think outside the box a little.
Agree. They could be a generic shock I guess. I am thinking that maybe RC (and others) buy the same shocks and rebrand them, or do these folks actually make them?

I questioned them being Rough Country also because there was no labeling, but a guy I trust at a shop I am using for my re-gearing assured me that they were RC.. He said that earlier kits did not have the labeling on them. Since the PO admitted that was what suspension kit was on there, sounds legit. Since I am upgrading to Bilstein's anyway, didn't put much concern to it.
I had them in my old 92 with a 3 inch lift...nitro charged...I think they began with a V...that was almost 15 years ago....just did a search...couldn't find the name I was looking for...660753 comes up on ebay as unbranded...same number
