Default What shocks should I buy?

I have everything for a 3 1/2" lift for my 2001 xj except shocks. I'm looking at Rubicon Express monotube & Bilstein 5100's. Both are the same price. I had Rubicon Express on a wrangler 10 years ago & liked them. I have read good things about Bilstein. Anyone have experience with both?

I'm searching for the same input also if there's a preference with one over the other what's the best place to buy them to get the most bang for my buck?

Thanks

Everyone here will pretty much tell you bilsteins. Check out Serious Offroad when you get ready to buy.

Serious offroad is the way to go. I haven't had a reason to order from him yet (keeping both of mine stock height for the time being) but his prices are great and it's always nice to support a fellow CF member!
