hello everyone,

im new here and was hoping that someone would know what rear end ihave. i have a 4 door 94 cherokee with a 4.0. stock auto tranny and t-case on 33s. i am in the process of putting locker in the rear end,and having trouble with the install ( a shop install ). i ordered a locker and when the guy put it in he said that the locker was NOT the right one. ( too small .... richmond powertrax p/n ????? ) so i had a different one sent. ( richmond powertrax p/n 9204352706 ). now he says this one wont fit as well. (says its too big) so if anyone knows how to i.d. the rear end it would be really helpful. thanks in advance.

are there any ways to id it? the PO had the lift installed. so im not sure if he has swaped rear end for another for any reason.

 

I would think this is a question you should ask BEFORE ordering parts 2x. A 94 will be Either a D35 or C8.25. The 8.25 has a flat lip in the bottom the D35 is round. The 8.25 has 3" tubes the D35 2.75".

To the OP, are you returning the incorrect parts? Or are you stuck with two lockers you can't use? Because I'm in the market for one. PM me what you've got (if you've got them)

 

I'm not sure I know the Dana 35 is completely round in shape . If you Google it u prob can find out for sure just type in the rear end for your year .i have a pic of all four year ends but cant get it to upload them if want I can send them to you through email
