Question What kind of lift should i get?

I just got a 1996 jeep Cherokee classic. I want to lift it a little bit but i dont want to compromise the way it drives. I dont know much about lift kits and this kind of stuff but my dad works at a body shop and can install it for me. I want to lift it 2 or 3 inches. what is a good lift kit and what all do i need?

thanks!

Look at the top of the forum page and you will see one dedicated to lifts and tire questions. The guys will help you here, but there is some good reading there.

Whats the budget for your lift? FWIW, you can accomplish your drivability goal easily at 2-3" I am running a Zone 4 1/2" kit with 31s with near stock street habits. Nad welcome to the forum!

All budget boost are basically the same thing, quality wise. The issue comes in what the kit INCLUDES.
2-3" minimun requirements

Front end:
Spacers or Springs(best)
Longer Shocks
Alignment
Rear:
Springs - Best or Bastard Pack - better or Shackle - Good or AAL Spring - Good
Longer Shocks

Thing you might need:
Relocate brake lines or replace with longer
Adjustable TrackBar
Adjsuable Control arms
TC Drop or SYE
Extended Swaybar links
