Default What kind of 4.5 inch lift??

Hey all. I want to purchase a 4.5 inch suspension lift for a new-to-me 2001 Cherokee XJ. I am looking at Rusty's and Zone because I have heard good things about them. For Rusty's there are 3 types of 4.5" lifts, and Zone has 2. What are the differences between them, and why would I need a specific one?

Rusty's: link

of those two lifts i would chose the zone because they are made by bds (from what ive heard and read, of course). i have a rustys 4.5" kit but it was installed by the previous owner. the difference in the kits is add a leaf and a full replacement rear springs. the full replacement pack will be more comfortable on road and flex better off.

How different would the two installations be? I have about 0 experience but want to do it myself.

i see DirtyKK's point but he's simply saying that Rusty's add a leaf is not the way to go, not choose Zone over Rusty's. My opinion is which ever lift you go with do not get an add a leaf kit PERIOD! Rusty's has a 4.5in lift with full replacement rear leafs for $669 and Zone has the same for $749. as i'm sure you already know if you've done any research at all. I've never heard anything bad about Rusty's lifts at any size and i've never heard anything at all about Zone lifts. My vote would be to go with Rusty's but that's just my opinion. good luck.

An opinion is just what I wanted so thanks! So the first Zone one I linked is an "add-a-leaf", which basically adds a leaf spring onto the existing old ones?

And if I went with this: link, would I want fixed control arms and a 4.5 inch leaf pack form the drop-down menus? Would I need an SYE or anything like that since it comes with a TCase drop? And would I want these:
"Heavy Duty Lower Axle Mounts" or "Stabilizers - Single Performance"?

The 3.5 with the 1in shackle will flex better.
You don't need those other two things.

Alright thanks. Also, do shock boots keep mud out or are they a waste of money? So far I'm looking at 850+ for this setup, including the JKS quicker discos. All bolt on, correct? Cause I can't weld.

The shock boots can trap dirt and mud and **** in there and **** up the seals.
You can look into rubicon express quick discos. The ones I was planning on getting were the Gen1. The lower endlink bolt is pressed into the mount on mine and I don't particularly feel like ****ing with it. LOL plus they are only $70 instead of $140...
