Spend any less and you're ****ed because **** will be breaking all the time. If you get rough country, you'll have to replace the bushings enough times that it will add up to over $3000. If you get rusty's, the welds will crack on everything. If you get zone, it will sag after 500mi. If you get iro the caster adjuster will break. Anything less than $3000, the kit is a huge piece of **** and isn't suitable for anything because it will break just sitting in the garage and then you'll have to go to xjbeadlock's shop to get it fixed. And because they don't do installs, you'll have to find someone else to install the $3000 kit for you. You may as well buy an h3, because at $50k, you KNOW it's quality and will take on trails better than a ****ty $600 rough country kit can do. XJs are also cheap for a reason. They are pieces of ****. Buy an expensive car, it will be better.
Haaah i love it

More money = more quality. Even rubicon express at $1500 is too cheap to be quality. Their springs just break in half!

Their bushings are ****ing terrible too!

Even the BDS kits suck ***, they rust like a ****! Must not be expensive enough.

LOL but you might want to compare apples to apples, not cherokee to JK to a ford product.

But again where did I say you have to spend $3K?

If I listened to everyone on the forum I would never get a lift. I have 3500$ sitting in my desk waiting to buy a lift, every time I decide on one someone tells me why I shouldn't get it. Its a vicious cycle.

Still the same company which leads me to believe the bushings and the finish would be similar across the board...
You never said you have to spend $3k.
You said "they are cheap for a reason".

I have talked to a rep from zone and they said they are like the daughter company of bds. But wow... I was about to set my mind on Rusty's.. Now i dont know haha. I would like to spend at or under $800, so even if it's a piece of crap, what's the least piece of crap kit I could buy with this?

Research more and then you decide. This has been covered over and over fwiw I had a rough country lift. It's all been replaced. Re coils and springs. Custom longarm. And planning on leaf sliders.

Rc leaves are short. joints suck. Coils sagged within a year. You decide.

I have not heard anything bad about iro from the people who run it. I'd say for the money id go with their kit. If you want the best quality kit I'd say clayton.

I personally would go with rough country great kit for the price and u wont need anything more unless your heading over to moab or any big offroading and dont let beadlocks scare u as u can see only companys that are good in his eyes start out at about 2500 on all parts plus shipping

That budget leaves you with 3 options, zone, RC, or rustys. Or you could get a set of deaver leaves and just lift the rear, but at least it would be quality.
