Has any one thought about running "Dare I say it" Full Toyota axles. You would have to move the pumkin or swing the T case over. The Hilux axles come with 4.88 gears as stock They are strong and still reasonably light and Lockers are easy to get for them. What are your thoughts. A lot of my mates run them with 35s and beat the crapp out of them with very few failures.
My other option is I can get a set of K5 axles D44 and 10" rear from a mate for a few bucks but I would need to shorten them and the gearing would need changing I would think, anybody tell me what the gears in a stock Blazer would be ??

Yeah, the prob here in NZ is the American gear is hard to find and cost's where as the Hilux axles are every where, My mate has a complete set lying in his shed, the other truck that has the same gears and is a little stronger is the Mitzi Pajero, you can only use the rear as they have IFS. so I will fit Pajero Rear and Hilux front, 4.88s and 36" TSL SXs. I will start a build Thread once I get into it. I'm at work in Thailand untill the end of the month so watch for somthing in August. This site is the best for info and you guys are so helpful. Cheers Leonmac (NZ)
