If he is breaking all those axles, he needs to get a different rig! The least expensive way to go would be a one ton GM, that way he gets a D/60 front that can be upgraded with 35 spline outers and a 14bff rear. About as tough as it gets without going to Rockwells.
ya hum if i do i would want the 2.5 ton ones not to sure where im going to find them im from hamilton ontario that stuff nots around here. that xj up above with the rockwells if you look at those you tube videos its seems to be good but its not the 4.0L any more
I would find a Ford half ton pickup(1970s-1980s) with a Ford 9in rear and Dana 44 front. That 44 front will have the drivers side front you need and will be a heavier duty Dana 44 that what is put in Cherokees stock. That combo should be cheap, only slightly wider, and tough. Then if you break those, you should consider upgrading to 3/4 or 1 ton axles.

Or you could get a one ton GM and run a 60/14bff and have the 205, about the strongest, if not the strongest OEM transfer case out there.
im not worried about the t case i like the 39's there good for the ruts where i live if i get that ford d44 from the front the upper control arm is casted into the diff and is it the right size for the rough country x flex arms. this guy i meet over here has d44's front and rear out of a wagoneer i think i would just break them he wants 700 with a hi steer knuckle. still the driver side upper control arm mount i cant weld to the cast i would have to a frame it i guess?
35's are to small i had them befor i was always stuck bigger tires the better!

im think about that ford d44 front and 60 rear seems the cheapest way out i looked up 2.5 ton rockwells there is none in ontario so i would have to pay large to get it here 3 g's where those d44 and d 60's probably 500? i havent called yet

Go for d60 front and rear. 39's are a bit much for a 44 depending on how you wheel.

A D44 is maxed out at 37's... I would go with the D60 front and 14Bff rear. or if you find a rear 60 that would be ok as well. but i think a 14Bff is better...

its gonna take big money to get a 44 to run bigger then 37s. ive got a f250 hp44 w/ t&t truss, ruff stuff cover, spicer hd balljoints, rcv shafts, spool and drive slugs and id still be leery about running over 37s
