I'm looking into a jyard trip tomorrow I've read on some Dakota durango and some chevys alternators that will work on xjs but never says the years they will work I can get a jyard one for 20$ I have a 88 cherokee Wat will work like almost or exact fit

a alternator off s10 p/up will work gotta remove front cover and swap on yours so its clocked right must look like this

 

I need some of that other stuff to question are the zj tierods any longer ? Same for as the draglink etc I want something if I wanna go up to 6 inches i won't have to srry much

thats you if you pull you console theres a large hole in th bottom of vent box that sends air to small vents in rear of console id try there

I reckon lol I mean its not hard to get the front off and put the other on and. Turn the cover till its right

 

real easy just make sure armature dont come out of case
