Welding a truss:
-So im about to start fabbing up the truss for my 30 which will be on the long side & connect both upper control arm mounts. My question is, "how do i weld on the truss without warping it OR melting the brand new seals inside??"
-I believe the way to do it is by welding 1 or 2 inch beads & then keep rotating all around & do only say 2 at a time & let them cool down till i start up again.
Simply put, how can i weld on the truss without warping a freshly built HP-d30 thats on the jeep & not melt the seals inside???

Short welds, and wrap the seal area with a wet towel, if you can. Otherwise remove the seals...I know thats a PITA.
