I recently installed some overhead lights on my roof rack and ran the wires into the cabin above the rear of the driver door. Everything worked out great but the wires make the top of the door protrude a little bit and it wasn't a problem until it started raining and leaking ! Lol, I replaced the weatherstripping with brand new but that did not help. Any ideas on how else I can run these wires without drilling ? Thanks guys. Here are some pics . Get some adhesive weather stripping from auto zone and stick it to the top of the door and run it down towards the mirror. I did this and hasn't leaked since. Very tight seal!

With that size of a wire you will never get it to seal. It needs to be ran down the front windshield cowl then a smaller wire into the door at the bottom of it.
Or do it right and drill a hole for them to enter on the top somewhere.

Are you afraid of commitment? Drill a hole in the roof and use a grommet and then you won't have the half assed look. BTW nice XJ. It has a nice overland look.

Maybe half assed is to harsh but it's not the proper way to do it seeing as it's leaking.
If done right a grommet won't leak. That's what there made for.
