with the right tires, not the street streakers I had on it. Thats not my point. I usually dont need 4wd to get out, unless we got a dumping of 3 ft. For a 2wd they deserve a little respect considering how many 2wds are out there. After all it is an xj. . .

xj maniac. . .its ok to envy the rockies. .I wont tell anyone. . . id be lying if I said I never wished I had the xj while in the appalacians.
BTW. . .is that 2 door 2wd?? how does the 4 banger treat ya . . or did I see a mod to the 4.0? Just curious how the 2.5 stacks up

Yep, sure is. 2.5 does just fine, never had a problem with it. Has plenty of low end grunt to do whatever, and mine gets about 25mpg. So i'm happy with it.

anyways, just look around the forum and see what you like on other peoples. You are gonna want your own look, so get ideas of what you like and dont like, then make it custom to your wants!

I haven't used my headlight since I put them in just turned them on to make sure everything was wired ok. But ill check chow they look soon n if they r blinding then ill order the new lenses. But my jeep basically just sits around most of the time. And that Baja look isn't bad at all. I do thank all of you helping me out with this.

It dose not matter if its 4x4, I could prob make it in 2wd through 95% of what everyone on this site considers "extreme wheeling"
Yea my 2wd xj has made it places i never thought it would. Im about to pick up a 4x4 this weekend but 2wd xj are still incredibly capable. Look through my build ive done plenty partly for looks and plenty for function although now id wish id done some things different its all a learning experiance

Back to the original topic. and for everyone on here that has a 2WD Cherokee. I'm so happy you share the same passion for Cherokee's as the rest of us... but FOR GODS SAKE! don't go waiste ur money on making it look "Mean". DOn't be that gay guy that drive his Ford truck around that has a 7" lift cuz his dick never extended from birth.

Go buy a 4x4 one, and spend your money modding that. and don't mod it cuz it looks cool. make it into the jeep that fits what type of off roading YOU do. It will do the "Mean" thing all on its own... its a Jeep

OR, just do what YOU want to do to YOUR Jeep, and don't worry about what anyone thinks.

Like Yamaha says "Make it your own".

Well mine does but it's got a 4.0 TB, CAI, new cat, and an IAT relocation. With 31's on the highway, i get 25 mpg.

WOW!!!!
These types of threads always amaze me for two reasons. All the flaming that goes on and the fact that someone asks everybody else what their ride should look like.
It's your ride and ultimately theres only one person that has to be happy with it. You!
If this thread runs long enough you'll end up with a general consensus of the type of wheel, lift height, tire size/brand, rack, etc. You'll end up looking like just another one in the herd.
Build it how you want, Drive where you want!!

OH!
Just my P.O. Things that don't look tuff or B.A. on a XJ, yellow window signs that say "caution --------- on board", "My kid is a honor roll student" bumper stickers, AAA stickers and anything that references the Backstreet Boys.
